Reaching it is, and that takes two things: knowing what to do each day, and actually doing it. CommitMe gives you both.
Good morning
Today
Why it usually fails
A goal names where you end up. It does not tell you what to do this week, so there is no day you are behind and no day you can fix.
With no record, a bad week and a bad month look the same. There is nothing to correct because there is nothing to look at.
A checkbox only you can see costs nothing to skip. No one finds out, and after a while neither do you.
The chain
You never have to work out what to do next. The goal comes back cut into a handful of steps with one habit attached to today, so the thing in front of you is always small and the big thing still moves.
The part everyone gets stuck on
That is the part people fail at, and nobody ever taught it. So do not do it. Write the goal badly, in one sentence. It asks what it needs before it commits to anything, and what comes back is steps and a habit with a cadence, all of it still yours to edit.
The crew
Quitting stops being free. Up to five people you picked can see whether today is logged, so the evening you would have quietly skipped is an evening somebody notices. It cuts the other way too: the day you finish, someone says so. You choose habit by habit what they see, so anything private stays that way.

A crew only works if you already know people who will actually turn up. Communities are for when you do not. Topic groups where people are chasing the same goal, so you can build a crew out of the ones who show up.
Streaks
Streaks work. They are why you go on a Tuesday you would rather skip. Then you are ill, or away somewhere you cannot train, and the app takes the one thing you had going. So showing up earns you days off. Spend them while you are out and come back to the number you left.

When it stops working
Your coach sees when you actually get things done, which hours and which days. So when a habit starts slipping it tells you which one, and what to change, usually hanging it off a habit that already holds.
Once a week it comes back to you as a reflection, and it ends on a question rather than a chart.
When you actually do it
This week
Bring the goal you have restarted three times.
Start freeAnd the rest of it
The new habit rides on one that already holds, so it costs you no fresh willpower. After I make coffee, read ten pages.
Something visibly moves in week two, long before the goal itself does.
A nudge at the hour you actually do the thing, not whenever we feel like it.
Go away for two weeks without losing what you built.
One tap from your home screen. No app store, no download.
Then use it solo. Goals, milestones, habits, streaks and the weekly reflection all work with an empty crew. Or join a community, where people are working on the same kind of thing, and build a crew out of the people you meet.
Nothing to start. Goals, habits, streaks, your crew and the weekly reflection are free to use, and the AI coach runs on a monthly allowance of credits. A paid tier is planned for the heavier social and coaching features; it is not live yet.
That is the normal case. Write it badly and it comes back as three to five milestones and one habit you can do this week.
The habits you shared, and whether today is logged. The leaderboard adds this week's completions and the XP they earned.
Your streak, if you had banked pause days. Showing up earns them, and they cover you while you are away.
No. Browser tab, or home screen if you want it there.
